As we all look ahead to 2.3 and the new adventures that await in Zul'aman, I think we could all benefit from a look back. Here's a classic from the archives of a bold (if not foolish) set of young adventurers who were proving their leetness at an early age. Prepare to be amazed....

dude, look at our gear.. that shit is tits magilacutty. no wonder we were able to storm I-forge the way we did.
That was one of the best nights I ever had in the game. We had no idea how to even get to Ironforge. Death by bear in the EPL was definately a favorite. I swear we were aggro'ing shit from the other side of the zone. Good times. Could have taken down the dwarf king if I'd had my axe enchanted...
that was a classic day.. speaking of classics, how about this conversation from our old board:
GD Dave "I don't know if anyone else has been using wands with their caster
characters, but they rock. I bought one for my priest when I was
getting him up to 13 last night and he was unstoppable. Before each
fight I would throw on my buffs and also a shield that absorbs
something like 100 damage. I would cast one DOT on the the mob and just
wand him like crazy. With the damage I was doing from the wand the
fight would last quick enough that the shield usually absorbed all the
damage I tokk. If not I would get hit once or twice (fighting mobs
within 1 level of my character). So basically I would end each fight
with full health/mana, thus non stop fighting."
nathaniel: "you got a thottbot link to one of these wands? i'm confused as to what they
do? "
Angelopappas: "hey, i'm thinking my dude is a caster. can anyone confirm? also,
i've never bought anything.. i guess i've never been keen on buying
anything because of past rpg experience, it always seemed like items
bought were a waste and that the good stuff was found or won. should
i buy look into buying things? if so, any tips on where, what, and
how? "

EPIC! Angelo goes on to sell a health pot for like 5g (if I'm remembering correctly) and the rest of us think he's somehow gaming the AH. Absolutely epic thread.
Nate has always been a little confused on how to use his wand, btw...
I think my favorite thing is that Grommet's durability is all yellow. Lol, wipe a few times gettin there eh?
Nah. My gear was yellow because those guards pissed themselves when they saw Get Me Two approaching, and there was some splash-back.
